This October, the Prendio team is participating in the MassBio Golf Classic as a Platinum Sponsor! The 2023 Golf Classic will take place at the renowned George Wright golf course in Boston’s Hyde Park, and aims to support MassBio’s newly formed work training initiative Bioversity.

Our support of programs like Bioversity reflects our passion for inclusivity and our belief that hard work, merit, and dedication should be the driving force behind success, even in industries with historically higher barriers to entry such as tech and biotech.

From short-term training programs to associate degree programs to placing individuals directly into jobs, Bioversity is blazing training pathways and creating employer connections for underrepresented populations and individuals traditionally left out of the life sciences.

In January 2024, Bioversity will open a 4,000-square-foot workforce training center at the Southline Boston development in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. The center will have lab training space and separate classroom space that can accommodate up to 24 people on either side at once. This site will serve as host to Bioversity’s workforce training programs as well as other programming by workforce partners with similar missions. The site is easily accessible by T at the JFK/UMass stop (Red Line; or Commuter Rail [Greenbush, Kingston, or Middleborough lines]) or by car.
